Decaying and dangerous litter by methuen close stream
Reported in the Dumped rubbish category anonymously at 14:26, Tue 3 September 2013
Sent to Harrow 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 384097.
The pathway beside the stream or brook is being used to dump decaying and dangerous litter. This harms the environment, the decaying litter seeps and leaks into the stream causing the area to smell of poignant odours causing lots of flies to come to the area, especially in summer. While the dangerous litter, broken bottles and sharp cut-out beer cans are harmful to our dogs and children that use the pathway to get to the High Street. Please help us. It makes the area look and feel run down and dilapidated.

The litter has not been cleared and taken care of. So the smells and pollution is still very much with us.

I acknowledge that the council has responded a bit in clearing the rubbish and decaying filth left along this brook area, but preventive measures should be put in place in this area. I believe that is why we pay high-end council taxes. The street lightings are no longer working, and have been out of service for 2 months now, and apart from giving these evil miscreants that use the darkness as an opportunity to throw filth in the area, it is no longer safe for men, women and children to use the pathway to get to the high street. The odour brought about by these filth, rubbish and domestic waste is hazardous to human beings to live in and within the area. Please do something to these evil miscreants, this is to prevent civilians to put matters into their own hands, because if culprits are caught you cannot predict aggressive reactions!
