Overgrown undergrowth on pavement

Reported in the Overhanging vegetation category anonymously at 20:47, Fri 30 August 2013

Sent to Southampton City Council 3 minutes later

I reported this on 22 July 2013 job number AF 43638EZ but nothing has been done. Pavement encroached by undergrowth opposite houses numbers 14 to 22 Copperfield Rd. It is on a bend. Schoolchildren + uni students will be back soon. Are you waiting for someone walking in the road to be knocked over before you clear? We walk round here regularly.

  • I have reported this twice in July AF43638E2 and end August -open spaces team 102002184345 and today (21 October)I have been to look and NOTHING has been done. OPPOSITE PAVEMENT to 14 - 22 COPPERFIELD ROAD BASSETT. The pavement should be 4-5ft wide and it is less than 12inches. It is ON A BEND and at the bottom of a hill and cars are coming fast. Many locals, uni students and school children use this path. It is very overgrown. If you are having difficulty in locating this please contact me on 023 8067 9191 and I will arrange to take you there! Joan Brunnschweiler
