Turning into the eastern end of Bernard Terrace (i.e. head from east to west) there are 6 or 7 potholes in a hugely rough road surface. The street is heavily used by motorised traffic and cyclists, as well as being a crossing point for one of the local schools (with a crossing warden). For cyclists and pedestrians in particular this surface could easily lead to falls, and for cyclists and motorists it diverts attention away from making a turn safely into a street with parked cars and pedestrians.
