Parking on grass verges

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 13:14, Wed 14 September 2022

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3825037.

People often park on the grass verges along Stainbeck Road despite most houses having driveways and the road not having parking restrictions. This leads to unsightly verge damage and encourages more people to do the same. There's no reason why people can't park sensibly on the road (in fact this will have the additional benefit of calming traffic speeds which are often excessive).

Is it possible to have some informal signage discouraging this behaviour? (I've seen similar Leeds City Council branded signage elsewhere in the city).
