Flooding at the bottom of the kerb to cross The Avenue

There is often flooding with the smallest rain near the kerb to cross from one end of 'The Avenue ' to the other. This is where 'The Avenue' intersects with Sevenoaks Road.

  • Water stagnates around the kerb at the intersection between The Avenue and Sevenoaks Road. This is a result of faulty levelling at the time of the re-lay of the road last year and water does not pass through to the closest drainage as it used to happen before. Kindly please look into this faulty design.

  • This is not resolved and there is a problem with the levelling to the drainage close to the kerb.

  • We apologise for the lack of update to this enquiry we have been waiting for a programme date from our contractor when the remedial works will be carried out. Works had been programmed before the Christmas break but due to the change in weather this was postponed, we hope to complete these works shortly.
