Footpath dangerous condition

Reported via iOS in the Rights of way category anonymously at 19:26, Tue 13 September 2022

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3823449.

The footpath is in terrible condition. It is overgrown with brambles and the surface is sloped towards the barbed wire fence, it’s divided into narrow dipped levels, rutted and uneven. The surface becomes a slippery mess in wet weather, again causing walkers to slide into the barbed wire fence. It’s extremely difficult and dangerous to walk on. The farmer has mentioned that he has informed the council he is going to re fence it and will be clearing the old fence and brambles soon. He says he’s informed the council of this as this would be an ideal time to re do the foot path as access will be easier while the dance is down. Please please please can the council take him up on this and re surface the path to make it safe and accessible, like the one adjoining the National Grid Road off Minchens Lane in Bramley? Thank you
