Road surface breaking up

Reported via iOS in the Potholes category anonymously at 17:55, Mon 12 September 2022

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3820391.

There are a few areas on Burleigh Avenue from no 3-27 where the road surface is coming away. They are about 1-2cm deep and vary in size across. But you could put a dinner plate across them and you’d be struggling to cover them. You definitely notice it when then car goes over it and with winter coming. I guess they can only get worse for all the residents and through traffic that use Burleigh Avenue.

Updates

  • The council got back to me to say that at present, none of the areas where the surface is breaking up are deep enough to be filled in.
