There is a blocked drain in the pavement around the green of Bankside Close. This particular drain is not even listed on your interactive map. As you face bankside green it is in the top left corner, immediately behind the back garden of number 17 Swievelands.

So after 5 months there seems at last to have been an aborted attempt at clearing this blocked drain. Unfortunately it hasn't been unblocked and the debris removed so far appears to have been disposed of over the nearby green and against the neighbours fence!!
On top of that the grate covering the drain has been broken as well.
Please come and remove the debris from the green and from the neighbours fence and dispose of properly along with finally clearing the drain and replacing the broken cover.
Why has it taken 5 months to get this far?

Thank you for arranging for the contractors to remove their debris.
When will they be clearing the actual drain though?

This has not been fixed - this report was made as the drain/gully was blocked which resulted in water pooling in this area which is the low point of this pavement area - it meant walking through puddles when it was wet and it froze over on cold days. On top of that during very wet periods the water seeps into the adjacent gardens.
Your fix seems to be to seal over the drain/gully - this is not acceptable as it does not stop the water pooling here, creating slippery pavements in the cold and affects the neighbouring gardens when wet.
Please remove this seal, clear out the gully/soakaway and reinstate the cover and allow this gully/soakaway to do its job - it was installed for a purpose. It is the only drain taking water away from this low point.
