Warning sign missing

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:49, Friday 9 September 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later

Lady Drove, Downham Market. Toward the A1122 end of Lady Drove, very close to the 40mph/NSL signs, (near Poplar Farm).

This area has been repeatedly reported to NCC Highways because the road is collapsing and has become dangerous as a result.

Recently NCC Highways placed two temporary warning signs here. Both signs had a plate with an advisory 20MPH maximum speed.

The sign for traffic heading toward Barroway Drove was placed in long grass so the advisory speed limit is obscured.

The sign for vehicles travelling toward Downham Market was only there a few days and has now gone altogether.

It has not just fallen over, but has disappeared, (unless, perhaps some idiot has thrown it in the ditch).

Please reinstate these warning signs (in such a way that they are not obscured by the long grass).

This piece of road is now in a dangerous condition so rapid action would be appreciated, (ideally to actually fix the root cause, but at the very least to warn unsuspecting drives of what lay ahead).
