Deep potholes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:37, Friday 9 September 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later

Lady Drove, Downham Market. Toward the A1122 end of Lady Drove, very close to the 40mph/NSL signs, (near Poplar Farm).

This area has been repeatedly reported to NCC Highways because the road is collapsing and has become dangerous as a result.

Vehicles trying to avoid the centre of the road where the degradation is at its worst, take to the edges of the road. As a result of this, previously patched potholes at the edge have again opened up into deep potholes.

Ordinarily, at the edge of the road they would not be a major issue, but in this case, because of the continued failure to repair the road properly, they are very much an issue, and need urgent attention.
