No bus stop sign

Reported via mobile in the Bus stops category anonymously at 08:18, Wednesday 7 September 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

There has been an ongoing issue for many months with buses not stopping at the St James View bus stop in East Hanney. This is because there isn’t a bus stop sign or any visible marking to highlight where the stop is. There is a sign on the opposite side for buses heading towards wantage (often obscured by the trees) but no sign for buses heading to Oxford. My mother who is over 80 uses the buses regularly however she has experienced a lot of issues with drivers not stopping in the right place and means having to walk even further home. With the new and temporary drivers on the buses it is difficult for them to know exactly where the stop is. It would be really useful if a sign or any kind of marking could be put up for the Abingdon/Oxford bus to stop these issues. Thank you
