Paths between Hegbrook Way and Aldwick Road Overgrown

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:39, Sun 4 September 2022

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3801084.

There is a path which connects Hegbrook Way in Aldwick Felds with Aldwick Road in Bognor Regis. This path splits into two around a small border. For some time the shrubs on the border and to both sides of the path have become overgrown and are encroaching on the pavements badly. The border now has a large blackberry briar that's sending brambles across the path at head height. Can this whole area be seriously cut back please as it is posing a hazard to pedestrians? I light trim will not do the job, a much more radical approach is needed I think. Thank you.

Updates

  • No action on this I'm afraid. Vegetation just as bad.
