Overgrown, Excessively Large Trees

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 16:17, Tue 30 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3790686.

There are very large, significantly overgrown trees along Newton Road.

On the side of the road opposite Day Cresent, there are large trees which line the path. My complaint surrounds a number of trees which are excessively large and both: A.) Overhang the path, requiring people to duck as they pass under them. B.) Overlap on to privately owned property, causing a significant reduction of natural light entering the properties and blocking all light to the grass below - killing it and turning it brown.

A number of complaints surrounding these issues have been made both verbally to councillors and via phone calls already over the past few years, but we have had no action and are getting extremely frustrated with the apparent neglect this area of Twerton has received as of recent times.
