Apple trees are overgrown and impacting the path

All 4 apple trees outside the front of the Town Hall are overgrown and impacting the path, so much so that it is not possible to walk under them without severely ducking.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
