Chalk Lane junction with East Bank

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 430273.

The Chalk Lane sign has been knocked down, removed and thrown onto drain side. The worded sign has been stolen just the post is left. Also the safety barrier to the drain has been demolished.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because Chalk Lane is a private road and not the responsibility of this authority to maintain. It may be worth contacting the District Council about the street name sign as they maintain those on public highways. You can contact South Holland District Council at https://www.sholland.gov.uk/ article/ 5866/ Contact-Us The barrier we are aware of as broken and is not within the highway.
