Large branch down off of Ash tree on Green in Butts Meadow Hook (owned by Hart)

Reported via mobile in the Other (non-highways) category by Councillor Paul Kinge at 00:31, Wed 24 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Hart District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3776435.

Large branch has come down on the Green at Butts Meadow Hook. It has come down due to Ash Die back. We have had dead wood from these trees litter the ground and the road (sometimes on cars) for a few years now. This was brought to the attention of the previous Hart tree warden who was not very proactive in his approach to Ash Die Back unlike Hampshire and Hook parish council with Ash Trees around the village. These trees need to be revisited and inspected properly. The trees are next to the road and adjoining property’s and where the children catch the bus to Robert Mays School so we need to be 100% sure they are safe
