The path adjacent to Spinney after the green bridge by the 339 is disappearing

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3765508.

The hedges on the path by Downside Close right down to where the new houses on Squirrel Wood are being built need trimming as path is nearly disappearing. I now have to step onto the grass if I want to pass people. I’ve been here 23 yrs & this has not been cut for years. The path by the green bridge leading to Highpath Way also needs trimming as it’s now overhanging & meeting either side which is nearly impassable.

  • I was told by Councillor Bound that the overhanging bushes were the responsibility of the house owners as it’s their their boundary, which I’m sure they’re are unaware of . However the bushes are obstructing a public path & would need industrial cutters to clear them!!!!!
