Speed sign completely obscured

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3762539.

Speed sign on Glendon Road Kettering to Rothwell (national speed limit) is completely obscured. Same from opposite direction (40)

  • I have just passed this sign on 07/09/2022 and note on this site that it was reported on 17/08/2022 .

    This sign has been invisible for some weeks !

    It is a 40 MPH sign on the approach to a narrow bridge and bend as the road crosses the MIDLAND MAIN RAILWAY below with trains at 100MPH

    Any collision or vehicle leaving the road at this point could have disastrous consequences.

    I FIND IT UNBELIEVABLE THAT IMMEDIATE ACTION HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN !!

    I have not attached a photo as nit is too dangerous to stand in the road to take one.
