Exit from Crockford Lane being blocked despite traffic light controls

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3759951.
With the road works taking place on A33 Crockford Roundabout, the two-lane exit from the industrial estate on Crockford lane is being blocked despite there being a traffic light control system in place.
The issue is cars move from the middle section of the roundabout when the green light release them, heading towards Binfield's roundabout, but the traffic is congested and not moving fast enough so vehicles move forward and block the roundabout when the road ahead is not clear for them. Then the lights turn green for Crockford lane and two lanes of traffic cannot move forward because we are blocked in.
The roadworks reducing lanes and the fast-changing traffic lights are causing drivers to be more aggressive, faster and more prepared to block junctions and exits to try and get ahead.
Either the light sequence timing needs to be changed while these roadworks are taking place, or hatch markings need to be painted on the roundabout to encourage drivers to not move forward if the road isn't clear.
