The roofing company JJ roofing and Enfield council response

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 23:08, Tue 16 August 2022

Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3759641.

JJ roofing on Hoppers road continues to disregard the residents by allowing fly tipping next to the Downes court bin - every time the customers pick up something from the store, they empty their vans of rubbish - this plastic bin was dumped in broad daylight by them. The council have apparently told JJ roofing that they are happy with this anti social behaviour and not to question it. On top of that the pavement outside the store is covered in nails, broken wood etc which I collect every day and is hazardous, in addition to the usual bottles of urine, coffee cups from JJ roofing and general filth. The council response is a tiny A5 sign at the bottom of a lamp post that no one can see. They are condoning the behaviour. A lease should not have been given to a building firm - and a disregarding company - on a residential road. The vans stop entirely over the yellow lines and pulling out of Downes Court is an accident waiting to happen.
