Hedge blocking view of the road

There is a section of hedge which is now overhanging the road. It restricts the view along the road when we are exiting our property, meaning that we cannot see oncoming traffic until it is very close. It also means that when large vehicles are coming along the road, they often cross the central white line to avoid brushing the hedge.
