Apple tree blocking psth

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 17:07, Tue 16 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3758911.

The Apple tree has been in the garden of 38 Hornbeam Road for several years, but now hangs over and blocks the path as you enter Japonica Close. You have to walk on the road, and then when the apples fall they make a complete mess all over the path and road.

Council ref: ENQ22931822

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. I have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
