Shared street space

This is a shared street space with cars parked and kids playing which is fine. However it the Gateway management company put up one discreet children play sign then it might slow down delivery drivers who have caused disharmony amoung residents particularly those in the smaller housing in Ambrose Way that have small kids. While I don't think it's practical or sensible to prevent parking or necessary to have a TPO a child sign or a informal twenty is plenty might provide some reassurances to some residents that their concerns may have been taken seriously. The police will know and the TVBC community officer ought to know there has been a bit of aggro on our street about the rate of knots people come round the corner. As I say banning parking is bonkers but a look by Gateway at mitigating some of the legitimate concerns of residents by softening the shared space street might go some way to restoring tranquility to our normally very happy mixed comminity.
