Breach conditions of operation

Reported via mobile anonymously at 19:45, Tuesday 9 August 2022

Sent to Edinburgh City Council less than a minute later

Breach conditions of operation for a primary residential area

Organisations governed by SPSO not getting it right day 20/39 To give you opportunity to put it right Transcript 09/08/2022 Yes we live in the centre of town That does not give rise to people shouting out of their shows This road should be open It should not be housing a bar It should not be housing the listed building defaced by these

Transcript If the road was not closed off they would not be shouting out The people would be queueing here

Transcript There is an Inappropriate bar in the middle of our road They have created (IE not mitigated - but created) a hostile environment For residents rights They are Edinburgh University Local authority Moult cider and Laing

Transcript What would say to you If you were on the telephone to me I would say we should come into our stairwell Should not have to suffer the noise from people on the street (Said to my neighbour is that right - neighbour said yes and I said thank you)

So whilst you are all governed by public services Ombudsman who has given you opportunity to put it right It would appear that certain parties have decided Not to put it right And therefore the disturbance from the onstreet facility which is xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx is board of trustees Edinburgh University etc doesn't mean it's right - it's wrong

What they are doing to us is wrong and not acceptable

Extra information Things we asked you to address pre festival are Stop the staff shouting out Stop patrons causing excessive amount of noise And Get people to leave quietly Stop bar activity including the clattering of bottles Slamming of shutters

And stop base beat We have reported over 355 episodes of harrasment from flat above so it's Unethical
