Sunken manhole in middle of footpath outside Oaklea house nursery Hook

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category by Paul Kinge at 21:41, Mon 8 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3739936.

The manhole which looks like the water stopcock/meter has sunk and is a trip hazard in the middle of the main path for the west of Hook to get to the centre of the village.the exit for the nursery crosses the path and I would say this damage is caused by cars. It does not help that the stones from the drive spread across the path and onto the A30. The drive needs work so stones don’t not obstruct the path and the manhole need reinforcement
