Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drains in this section of West Street. We are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a work order to investigate, clean and test the gully. This should hopefully be completed within a months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.

This problem has not been fixed. You have closed this report but the gullies have not been unblocked. This is not flooding due to the amount of water it is due to blocked and insufficient gullies. The gullies should be all along the whole path, not just a small section of it. These gillies need regular cleaning (once a month , not every year or two. Surface water from cars gets splashed onto the path. There should be some kind of barrier to prevent this happening.
