"No Dogs" sign missing from toddlers' play area

Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 20:24, Sat 6 August 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3735566.

The sign saying "no dogs allowed" has been removed from the entrance to the fenced off children's play area. People are taking dogs in there daily who urinate and deficate around the equipment and chew on the playground furniture.

It does not feel safe for children to go in there because the dogs in the fenced off area with the play equipment are always off their leads and usually have poor recall. I presume the owners let them run around here because they can't control them within the park itself, but this does not mean they should be in the area specifically set aside to be dog-free.
