Pegasus Crossing required
Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 22:42, Mon 15 July 2013
Sent to West Sussex County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 372761.
Crossing of the bridle path on common road requires a Pegasus crossing. About 30 horses and riders cross daily a very busy bridle path and the road has vehicals passing very fast most not aware of the bridal path let alone a horse crossing. Many times I have nearly been hit as I can't see what is coming and vehicals and their drivers cannot see me. A Pegasus crossing was designed for this type of crossing so it would be very much appreciated for one to be sited. before another rider and horse are hit by a speeding motorist.

Met the nice man and discussed issue, been quite good feedback and the wheels are rolling. a local councillor seems to think the traffic up this bridle track is very small, obviously she has not been up and sat there counting the traffic... I spent all day 9am -4pm during the week days 20 horses 5 pushbikes 13 walkers weekends are usually busier.
