Dangerous mobility scooter rider outside Morelli's Barbers

Reported via mobile anonymously at 13:20, Thu 28 July 2022

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3713547.

Just got knocked down by a Mobility Scooter on the pavement outside Morellis. The woman driving the scooter came up behind me at speed shouting "I'm so sorry". I tried to get out of the way but she did not even try to break and, still shouting "I'm so sorry" , pushed me into the metal bars which are fixed into the pavement (for chaining up bikes?). I "luckily" fell on my right -I already have a broken left arm- and knocked my head, arm, shoulder blade and right arm and hip on the way down. Luckily not too much damage done but I was rather shocked. Fortunately, my husband, who was waiting inside Morelli's saw this happen and rushed to my aid. At this point the rider briefly stopped, then went off.
