Moda restaurant

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:50, Wed 27 July 2022

Sent to Bury Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3711654.

It's a new restaurant and they are filling the pavement with tables, chairs, plants and placards. People cannot pass on the pavement safely. Pushchairs and wheelchairs have to go on the road. People congregating smoking outside also cause a problem as they fill the pavement and stand waving cigarettes in the faces of children as they pass.

  • Still putting them out even though it's raining. Total disregard for pedestrians. Everyday one of my kids has to walk on the road to pass. It's at a busy junction.

  • Still the same, the table is wonky and doesn't look usable but they still put it out. Can't get my wheelchair or pram past. I have no objection to tables on pavements if they are wide enough or on a quiet street but this is not the case with this restaurant. Its right opposite the bank on a busy corner
