Double parking on both sides of the road due to event

People double parking for event (run along the canal) on Sundays only. Only for a couple of hours however, if it was an ambulance using that route, they would be stuck. Very difficult to get two way traffic down and an emergency vehicle or a bus would not be able to fit. Also some of the cars are parked on the pavement meaning that pedestrians are walking in the road.

  • Unfortunately I have been told that nothing can be done about this. I have concerns that emergency services vehicle would not be able to access and puts people at risk.
