Overgrown bushes on cycle path

Reported via desktop anonymously at 10:30, Fri 22 July 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3697776.

The cycle path called Potash Lane, between Lotus and St Thomas' Lane is very overgrown, so much so that there is not enough room for two bicycles to pass each other along a significant part of the route. The overgrown bushes also make it impossible to see oncoming cyclists and pedestrians.so it is currently very dangerous.

Updates

  • The council don't believe they own this road despite it being signed at both ends with public highway cycle path signs. I believe they do because it is a road that is closed to motorvehicles.
