Unclear cycle path

It’s unclear that the stretch of path between ash long and elm drive is not a cycle path. We had a near miss with our 5 year old and an errant cyclist who wasn’t using the road. There needs to be bollards or signage to deter the selfish cyclists and force them onto the road.
