A more than overflowing waste bin. Hook Road is littered frequently by people in parked cars almost for its whole length. Fly tipping is also a big problem. Litter includes beer, wine and cider bottles and cans; aerosol canisters and druggy plastic bags; builders waste; fast food and sweet wrappers and other plastic bottles.
Updates
-
The overflowing waste bin has been removed. Rubbish is now scattered on the ground where the waste bin was. Further along the road, at a car-made layby is still a particularly littered area with all the usual alcohol bottles and cans, drug paraphernalia, a discarded office chair, bin bags of rubbish, fast-food carton, etc. Further along at another pull-in, a favourite fly tipping spot, there are bags of rubbish, a large timber frame, builders / painters waste and other general rubbish. There are discarded alcohol and fast food containers for its entire length.
