Ongoing pothole on driving line.See below

Sent to Essex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3677016.

Lateral pothole from degradation of previous pipework excavation repair. Has now been present for well over 6 months and is slowly getting larger. It is on the driving line and is deep enough top cause tyre delamination, especially on low profile tyres. Needs urgent attention. Left hand side of carriageway when travelling North. Marker shows exact location.

  • Amazingly the pot hole was spray marked for attention within a week of posting and was fill / repaired shortly afterwards. All people attending the Harlow Council Offices in Mead Park have to cross this particular part of the carriageway. Maybe that had some influence on it's rapid repair, or am I being too synical?
