Overgrown shrub on blind corner of busy road

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 15:10, Thu 14 July 2022

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3676705.

These plants have entirely blocked the corner for pedestrians & hamper the view of vehicles both entering & leaving the junction. If pedestrians follow the Highway Code, they should be walking on the right-into the oncoming traffic -but the cars swing around the corner very fast & there’s no where for the pedestrians to safely cross. If the pedestrians ignore the Highway Code & walk on the left vehicles drive from behind the pedestrians & that’s not safe either! The cemented Road sign on that corner was recently demolished when hit by a vehicle -can’t imagine the injuries that would have occurred if a person had been hit.
