Serious Impending Road Incident

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:55, Sun 10 July 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3665078.

I was on holiday in Norfolk last week and have over 40 years of driving experience. And yet even today (Sunday 10th July) my brother with the same experience on the roads has become confused with this very dangerous road junction with the A1042 jct with A1270. To be brief, if you travel from east to west on the A1042 (postcode NR13) & eventually come to a set of the traffic lights. From here the road markings fail to show where to drive onto the A1270. It took me over 20 seconds to try and work out where to go, as I was at the front of the queue. And even then, I wasn't confident as there are several no entry markings on the road surface, but there should have been a long directional road marking arrow from the A1042 and into the A1270. I personally fear this will cause many road incidents, if not corrected.
