Light shining into houses opposite.

Reported via desktop in the Light Not Working category anonymously at 15:12, Saturday 9 July 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Hi, this light is intruding into bedrooms of houses on the OPPOSITE side of the road IE 67 - 75. Please install a shield on the OUTSIDE of the light (nearest the road) to prevent this. Thanks

  • Hi, I can’t see that anything has been done. Have you got the correct lamp post ? You are looking to fit something like the photo shows.

  • Any progress with this ?

  • I saw an engineer up the lamppost the other day testing it with a laptop. It would have taken him just minutes to fit a shield.

This is causing residents to lose sleep.

Please get a shield fitted on the side nearest the road (the light affects houses opposite remember) like the previously attached photos show which are of lamps in Wickham Way so it can be done albeit different fittings but simple for an engineer to fabricate.
