Dangerous & slippery downhill path

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:41, Thu 4 December 2008 ; (there is no pin shown as the user did not use the map)

Outside 9 Navy Lane where I've stayed before, is a footpath which decends down to the stores and then the pier. This footpath has few or no steps, and is so slippery it is so dangerous to walk on, especially if wet. Can this be looked at?, as the path is simply a hard slide someone could end up breaking their hip on in the right damp conditions.
