Pothole
Reported in the Road or pavement defect category anonymously at 11:56, Fri 14 June 2013
Sent to City Of Westminster 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 365150.
There's quite a large pothole right on the corner of the Outer Circle (northwestbound) as cyclists turn into Hanover Gate. While Hanover Gate was recently resurfaced, this pothole was ignored. Because of the way cars and bicycles share the road at these traffic lights, cyclists are in danger of being forced into the pothole as they turn left.

Westminster Council have emailed me to say that the 'fault' has been 'completed'. Yet the pothole is still there, same as before. I believe that I described the location accurately, and in a manner that would enable anyone looking for a pothole at the corner of Hanover Gate/ Outer Circle to find it. This is farcical.
"Enquiry Number: 53158 - Status: Resolved - Works Complete The fault you reported on HANOVER STREET has been completed. Where possible we will have carried out a permanent repair, however some works are planned ahead and will be completed in due course. Westminster City Council"

Westminster Council responded quickly and sent me an email claiming that the pothole had been filled. It has not. I re-reported this on fixmystreet but have not heard anything from Westminster Council since then. Nothing was done to fix the pothole.

This is still not fixed and no work has been done to this pothole whatsoever in the past 6 months. It is just a matter of time before a cyclist is injured or a car wheel is damaged.
