Parking of vehicles on grass verges

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 21:07, Sun 3 July 2022

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3644451.

Between 4 and 7 vehicles are being parked permanently on the grass verges outside the flats on Kent Road , including works vans and lorries . They are churning up all the grass and one vehicle almost ran over my small granddaughter while she was on the grass . . . It mounted the kerb and drove onto the grass to park at speed , it scared us to death. There will be a serious accident soon if these cars are not prevented from parking on the grass. This had been going on for over 6 months.

Updates

  • Don't bother telling Leeds Council there is going to be a serious accident because of people parking their cars on grass verges where children come out of school and people have to walk . . . . Leeds Council couldn't care less .
