New drain set to high not allowing water to enter drain

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 08:43, Tue 28 June 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3629403.

The new road works outside the school are not allowing the excess water to drain away as the drains are too high in the road which is causing large puddles which during the winter will freeze and cause issues for not only the school children entering the site but also for cyclists and pedestrians alike. Riney the construction company did not take away the old surface just added material (Tarmac) and the then fitted the drain cover which explains the height of the drain.
