The end of the footpath between Orchard Court and Willow Court

Reported via desktop in the Barriers category by Cllr Michael Unett at 15:25, Thursday 23 June 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later

Residents are having difficulty passing this location due to the close proximity of the bollards at the end of the footway between Willow Court and Orchard Court, especially those with mobility issues and those who rely on the use of wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Cyclists also have some difficulty too as well as those with pushchairs. For better accessibility and active travel, the position of the bollards need to be reviewed and the central bollard or central set of bollards removed.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are currently experiencing an increase in demand of reported issues along with a temporary reduction in available staff due to Covid-related sickness and self-isolation.

During this time and until the situation improves, we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
