Overgrown bushes and flytipping

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:38, Tue 21 June 2022

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3612695.

There is a walkway on Richmond close which gains access to a few houses and the bushes are overgrown and over hanging and it is brambles and stinging nettles etc. The walkway is becoming tight to walk down without being caught by the bushes and there are a number of young families (mine included) that cannot walk passed without children in the buggy being caught by the bushes. It is that overgrown that people are now flytipping their garden waste and rubbish into the bushes and this is making it worse. This has been like this for a number of years residents have tried to trim back the problem but it is too overgrown now that it cannot be done without industrial work tools etc.
