Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
Good afternoon,
We are Michael Graham Estate Agents in Aylesbury and have been approached by Stone Village Church of England Combined School to ask if we could help them with the marketing of their Summer Fete by erecting some boards in the village.
The boards would be standard residential Sales Boards with the Michael Graham logo on as usual, and with a slip across the bottom detailing the event:
Stone Church of England Combined School Summer Fete 12 noon to 3pm Saturday 2nd July 2022
We would be looking to put the boards up in the next day or so, once they have been created, so by 24th June 2022 latest, and they would be removed after the event, so by 4th July 2022 latest.
What we would be very grateful for would be to know if we could possibly place a board at each of the four entrances to the village shown in the attached photo, i.e. just before Chiltern Avenue as approaching from Aylesbury on the A418; just before the entrance to the Playing Field as approaching from Thame / Dinton on the A418; just before the junction of Portway Road and the A418, at The Bugle Horn junction, as approaching from Bishopstone; and on the junction of Bishopstone Road and Portway Road, as approaching from Bishopstone. All signs would be placed on the left hand side of each road, so as to be better seen by and facing people driving towards them.
I do hope that this might be possible, and look forward to hearing from you if this, or any amended positions, might be something we could do for the school?
They have provided four private addresses where we can place other identical boards, we just want to ensure that we are doing the right thing before putting anything else up.
Steve in your Transport Department at Buckinghamshire Council advised that this might be the best method of contacting you to ask this question, so I hope it is, and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you very much for your consideration of this request.
