Updates

  • It's frustrating not to get a direct answer from WSCC. The last I heard was that quotes were being obtained from a 3rd party contractor. In the meantime I see school children having to fight their way through the overgrowth full of nettles. How can we expect to encourage more people to use their bikes to travel the short distance from Stedham to Midhurst at the time of year which should be most suited to cycling?

  • I was told that the 3rd party contractor had not submitted a quote and therefore the work had not been completed. A reminder was to be sent to the contractor according to WSCC. As of yesterday 11th Aug, nothing had been done to remove the overgrown vegetation from the side and overhead..
