Turning area always blocked

Constant cars blocking a turning area at bottom of bowland drive mainly residents living in number 31 can we the residents have a sign saying no parking in turning area, lorries and bin lorries cannot turn at the bottom creating problems.

  • Thank you for your request for the installation of a “Turning area please do not obstruct” for sign Bowland Drive Barton Seagrave. We will arrange for a sign to be installed on the nearest lamp column to deter this parking.

  • What a waste of time. The people at no 31 have only just moved in in the last couple of weeks, so its not a very neighborly way to welcome them to the street . Who ever reported this is not raising this on behalf of the residents of Bowland Drive as on any given day cars for no 36 & 38 plus any visitors are parked in this area and it doesn't cause a problem

  • We only install these signs where we have had reports of parked vehicles causing the obstruction of the turning head area. These are only temporary signs and are generally removed after a couple of months for use at other locations where similar issues are occurring.

  • Still problems with this resident ignoring the no parking in turning area sign.binmen and other drivers and delivery people always struggle. Especially when this person has a drive to park on.
