Beech hedge partially obstructing footpath

The metalled footpath is becoming increasingly obstructed by beech hedge growing through the fence from a neighbouring property. This is near the the Church and up towards the golf course. This is forcing walkers onto the grass. I appreciate this will probably need to be addressed at the end of bird nesting season.
