This section of fence blew down in the storm and is attracting fly tipping- rubbish has been dumped behind the fence. The wooded area behind the fence is Council Property. The fence needs securing and fixing because the woods lead to round the back of houses in Grove Vale, amd although the wooded area is private it still poses a security concern to residents if undesirable passers by see an opportunity to access the woods.

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3575129.

This section of fence has been down for over 2 months as it came down in the last storm. It is attracting fly-tipping and rubbish has already been dumped behind the fence. It is a security concern because properties in Grove Vale can be accessed if someone got into the woods behind the broken fence. Note: the woods behind the fence are maintained by the Council.

  • We have investigated this report and found the location is not the responsibility of Bromley Council (such as private property or an unadopted road). We are unable to progress this report further and advise you contact the responsible party.

  • Resident has contacted in relation to this and would like to no who the fence belongs to and who would be responsible for fixing this - resident advises there is a sign on the fence around the area advising Bromley council will be doing tree work within the boundary, for TPO/Conservation area

    State changed to: Open

  • We believe the sign may have been misread, the owners would need to post Planning Notices when getting permission to do work on trees with TPO's, rather than the notice being LBB carrying out the work. We believe the land is owned by Ravensbourne College Of Design & Communication.

State changed to: third party responsibility
