No visible footpath

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3568531.

The landowner/farmer has not provided a clear right of way across this field. Unable to walk around the field to avoid crops as the farmer has left huge mounds of earth around the edge. Very challenging to access in wet conditions.

  • Thank you for your enquiry, site visited. Land owner has been contacted and works have been instructed for the Right of way path to be reinstated through the crops. Reference def277909.

  • Interestingly, I walked through this area a few days ago, and the landowner/farmer has not put a footpath in or a visual sign to communicate to walkers in which direction to walk in.

    Personally, I do not like walking across crops with a food resource but the landowner has left no choice for walkers.
